Metallic Inks, the premiere mineral oil based metallic ink with a proven track record for high quality and high speed printing. Optimised pigment technology offers the ability to run cleaner with lower ink films whilst retaining a high metallic lustre.

For letterpress work on uncoated absorbent stocks e.g. cotton boards – we recommend running the plate with overprint varnish or transparent white to seal the stock before re-running/using the metallic ink. This will retain and enhance the metallic quality of the ink which is diffused when absorbed into the paper. If printing on coloured boards we also recommend an initial run with opaque white to block out the colour before running the metallic on top. Preliminary runs must be allowed to dry properly.

You can also add a Silver Perlescent bronzing pwder to lift the shine.
